Diffusing Essential Oils is the most popular and easiest way to use essential aromatically. Diffusing essential oils in your house has many aromatherapy benefits that can; cleanse the air, boost the immune system, support the mood, and leaves your home smelling fresh. How a diffuser works is they disperse tiny essential oi ‘molecules into the air, and you inhale them as they float around the room. Essential oils are very strong and powerful so remember to leave an exit for pets as their noses are extra sensitive.

There a quite a few different types and sizes of diffuser on the market, the main ones are:

  • Heat Diffusers: This type of diffuser uses a water and essential oil mix in a tray. Heat diffusers are not my first choice, because they use a heating element to slowly evaporate the essential oils.When essential oils are heated, they can lose their aromatherapy benefits. Be sure to clean your diffuser weekly.
  • Reed Diffusers: A reed diffuser is a narrow neck decorative bottle supporting the tall reeds of bamboo. Inside the bottle is a carrier oil, water and essential oils which soaks into the reeds to give off a slight aromatherapy aroma and benefits. This diffuser suits a small room like the powder room/bathroom.
