Yoga Mat Spray
Every good yoga session leaves you feeling uplifted and rejuvenated—you’ve had time to breathe, sweat, and stretch, and now you are ready to conquer whatever comes your way. However, when you roll up your yoga mat at the end of a session, sweat stains and unsanitary residue might be left behind.
Rather than wiping your mat down with a chemical-ridden commercial cleaner, try this essential oil Yoga Mat Spray DIY to cleanse and refresh your mat in between sessions. Lavender and Melaleuca essential oil will help to add a fresh, clean scent to the mat, helping to maintain it until your next yoga practice.
Yoga is a great way to increase your physical and emotional well-being. Whether you are an expert yogi, or just getting started, a good yoga mat spray is a must.
Ingredients:
- ¾ cup distilled water
- ¼ cup alcohol-free witch hazel or white vinegar
- 5 drops Lavender oil
- 3 drops Melaleuca oil
- Glass spray bottle
Note: Not all yoga mats are treated the same. Using essential oils may ruin some yoga mats. Spray a test patch on a small part of your mat first to make sure the cleanser doesn't adversely affect it.
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients in glass spray bottle.
- Shake until combined.
- To use, spray on mat and wipe dry with towel.
