Roller Bottles are the easiest and most popular way to use essential oils topically. You can use a single oil or make your own blend of oils, depending on what you are trying to treat. To make a roller bottle you add your essential oil(s) of choice into the roller bottle, then top up the bottle with a carrier oil to dilute, place lid on and shake before use. Depending on who you are making the roller bottle for will depend on how many drops of essential oil you will need. You will need to dilute essential oil differently depending on the skin type and age, younger children dilute more than an adult.
HOW TO DILUTE ESSENTIAL OILS IN A 10ml ROLLER BOTTLE
- Newborn – 6 months: 1-2 drops
- 6 months – 2 years: 1-3 drops
- 2years – 5 years: 2-5 drops If your roller bottle is smaller 5ml or larger 15ml be sure to adjust the chart properly.
- 5 years – 12 year 5-10 drops
- 13 years and up: 15-20 drops
